AGOP Conference

AGOP 2021

11th International Summer School on Aggregation Operators
19 – 24 September 2021 Bratislava, Slovakia
Jointly with IFSA-EUSFLAT 2021: http://ifsa-eusflat2021.eu/

Aims and Scope

In many practical problems, the need of merging quantitative information comes to the major interest. This need comes from different and complementary disciplines such as Engineering, Economics, Science, Mathematics and others.

Aggregation Operators (AGOP) have been studied in the last 40 years from both theoretical and application point of view. They are powerful tools to combine and fuse information and they are used in many fields and areas, such as multicriteria decision-making, information fusion, knowledge-based systems, multi-agent systems, or economics.

Topics of Interest
Theory:
  • • Properties of aggregation functions
  • • New form of aggregation functions
  • • Copulas and triangular norms
  • • Fuzzy measures and integrals
  • • Aggregation in ordinal and nominal scales
  • • Operators and connectives for fuzzy sets and logic
  • • Data fusion methods
Applications:
  • • Data science
  • • Machine and statistical learning and data mining
  • • Information privacy and security
  • • Bibliometry
  • • Multi-agent systems
  • • Decision-making and decision theory
  • • Bioinformatics
  • • Information fusion
  • • Approximate reasoning and soft computing
  • • Economics and finance

Paper submissions

Submissions of original and previously unpublished works are encouraged. All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Submissions must be prepared in EUSFLAT format prepared for the ASUM series published by Atlantis Press, the length of the papers should be 4-8 pages. Accepted papers will be published in the open access regime online (no copyright form needed).

Furthermore, abstracts up to one page can be submitted too. If accepted, the talks related to the abstracts can be presented at the conference but will not be included in the proceedings. A book of abstracts with all abstracts will be published and distributed at the conference.

Each submitted paper will be reviewed by two independent reviewers and the decision on its acceptance will be based on the results of these revisions. All papers should be submitted through EasyChair.

Submission: Papers should be submitted through EasyChair .

The detailed information about the submission process is provided on the submission site.
